Coup de Cœur

There is something deeply Montreal about days when the city overflows with energy yet still leaves room for small reminders of what matters.

Between the roar of the Grand Prix, the excitement of Canadiens fans and the crowds filling downtown, we also see researchers helping children navigate information, groups protecting natural spaces and residents pushing forward despite obstacles.

Montreal has a way of blending noise and nuance, spectacle and subtlety, and it is often in that mix that the city shows its best side.

Practical Corner

Expect heavy traffic downtown

Downtown remains especially busy with Grand Prix activities and the increased presence of hockey fans. If you are heading through Crescent or other lively areas, expect more congestion than usual.
